There's a lot to do in West New Britain. It may take a little time and you'll usually need a guide, but what an opportunity!
WNB is an amazing place. There are many areas still very hard to get to - Cape Gloucester where the Allied invasion in 1944 marked the beginning of the end for the Japanese occupation, and the numerous villages along the coast and in the mountains which are rarely visited at all.
But closer to Kimbe, and within reach of a vehicle or a boat, are plenty of great things to see and do all within a few hours of your accommodation.
